Alicia Peru alpaca is a purveyor of eco-luxury home and gift products designed in the Pacific Northwest and manufactured in Peru with elements of hand craftsmanship and the most up to date sustainable production standards. Alicia Peru alpaca was formalized in 2008 as a mother and daughter partnership.  The vision of its designer/founder Alicia Rodriguez, was to bring re-fined and elegant contemporary garments and accessories to market using the exceptional natural fibers and weaving/knitting heritage available in her native Peru. 

Patricia Rodriguez Markevitch, oversees business development inclusive of product placement, marketing and strategy. This includes the recent relaunch of aliciaperu.com and the expansion of the wholesale channel since 2021 and the corporate gifting and custom product development programs since 2023.  

Alicia and Patricia’s style and design ethos culminated in the opening of their first free standing boutique in Downtown Bellevue in 2018. The storefront was curated with an edited selection of sustainable women's luxury - fashion, accessories and gifts. It closed its retail doors in 2025.

Currently, Alicia Peru alpaca is focused on its ever-expanding home and gift product lines – blankets, throws, cushion covers, shawls, scarves, gloves, slippers and more.  Alicia Peru alpaca sells its namesake branded products wholesale nationwide in specialty boutique and concept stores. In 2025, aliciaperu.com was relaunched with this focus and will serve as the brands retail online sales channel. Patricia continues to drive these business channels while Alicia will continue to collaborate of select design projects.
